In a relationship, there is a requirement of 3 things. Trust, Love and Sacrifice.

Trust always has to be obtained at the beginning, because what is love without trust? nothing. Trust is the foundation of the Love that is bestowed upon the couple and it moulds the heart, and prepares it for the future "Love" has in store.

Once the love between the two has been established, everything will aways seem amazing, also called the "honeymoon" where all seems right in the world, nothing could go wrong and no one can ruin your mood. That is one of the highest type of love that can be acquired at this stage.

There will always be times when countless dissentions occur. One may have to swallow their pride to make the other one win, one may also try to "buy" their love back with gifts that represent how apologetic they may be. But either way, sacrifice is the only way to withstand the ups and downs of relationships. Sacrifice is a two way street. If the other does not reciprocate the actions the balance of the relationship is diminished.

Just remember these three things, and there will always be a light in even the darkest places.
